P-EBT Instructions for Parents
1. Consider whether your student(s) qualifies for P-EBT benefits:
a. Does my student free/reduced eligibility status?
i. I was approved for free or reduced meal benefits based on approval of a free/reduced meal application OR
ii. My child qualifies through direct certification (SNAP eligible) OR
iii. My school qualifies for special status through CEP or Provision 2
AND
b. Was my student absent due to a COVID-19 isolation or quarantine?
2. If the answer is yes to BOTH of the questions (a and b) above, your student qualifies and you should contact your child’s school for an application.
3. Return/submit the completed application (either via google form or paper application) to your child’s school by July 29, 2022.
4. Await processing and receipt of P-EBT card (could be a several weeks)

Congratulations to Lauren Koch! Lauren competed in the Skills USA Competition last week and placed 1st of of 250 competitors. Lauren received a medal, $200 grand prize, and will compete in Nationals this summer in Atlanta. Well done Lauren!



This Saturday Mayflower FFA will host their 8th Annual Mayflower FFA Foundation Annual Dinner and Auction Fundraiser. Tickets may be bought in advance from any FFA member for $12 or at the door for $15. There will be a BBQ dinner will be served before the live and silent auctions. Dinner starts at 5:00 and the auction will begin at 6:00. We look forward to seeing you at our auction to support our fantastic FFA students.

Our Junior Ring Ceremony has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 pm in the High School Cafeteria.


MHS Baseball is having a fundraiser. It will end this Friday so you need to get them while you can! Please see any baseball player to purchase yours!

What a great performance this week by our basketball teams. Our girl’s finished 2nd place in the Regional Tournament. They had victories over Helena and Episcopal before falling in the finals to Lamar. Our boy’s finished 1st in the Regional Tournament. They had victories over Helena, CAC, and Episcopal. Both teams have advanced to the 3A State Tournament. Congratulations!



Good afternoon Junior parents, our 2022 Junior Ring Ceremony will be Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:00 am in the High School Cafeteria. Forms went home today with Juniors to let us know if they are participating and to send in pictures for the end of ceremony video. This is a special event that we hope all Juniors and their parents and guardians will enjoy.

Due to inclement weather, the basketball postseason tournaments have been modified according to the schedule below.
Day 1 - Saturday starting at 4:00 (originally scheduled for Feb 23)
Day 2 - Sunday starting at 1:00 (originally scheduled for Feb 24
Semi-Finals - Monday starting at 4:00
Finals - Tuesday starting at 4:00
State Tournament will now start on Thursday, March 3 and games will be played on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The state Semifinals will be played on Monday, March 7 with split sessions starting at 1:00 and 5:30.

Due to poor road conditions in much of the district and the high likelihood of refreezing tonight, Mayflower School District campuses will be closed on Friday, Feb. 25. Please stay safe.

Congratulations to our Eagles Basketball team on the performance in the Conference Tournament. They finished the Tournament as Tournament Champions. They will be the #1seed in next week’s Regional Tournament in Lamar.

Good afternoon! Tuesday Feburary 22, Mrs. Goodwin will host our Spring FAFSA night from 5:30-7:00 in the Computer Lab. This night is for Seniors and their parents/guardians who are planning to attend a trade school, two year college, or four year college and have interest in financial aide.
Any seniors who are interested in receiving the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery must fill out FAFSA paperwork to become eligible.


Good evening! At tonight's Mayflower School Board Meeting our School Board voted to repeal the mask mandate due to changes in protocols from the Arkansas Department of Education. Begininng tomorrow masks will not be required for students or staff.
