Maria Hoskins, the Executive Director of the YARN program, visited our campus to present Asia with her award, which included a scholarship, a gift card, and a journal to support her future writing. Congratulations to Dominic Hinton, Logan Deierlein, and Kaelum Nguyen for their outstanding performance on the WorkKeys assessment. Each of these students earned a Platinum certificate, the highest possible ranking on the exam.

Entergy has notified us that a vehicle struck a power pole in Mayflower. As a result, they plan to temporarily shut off power to the city at approximately 4:00 p.m. to complete necessary repairs. The outage is expected to last about three hours.
We plan to complete the school day as scheduled. However, families should plan accordingly for a power outage beginning around 4:00 p.m.
