ATTENTION PARENTS!! Just a quick reminder that Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Monday, September 25th from 1pm-7pm on each campus. Please plan to come and hear how your students are doing this new school year!

This morning the MHS Football Team spent time at Mayflower Elementary opening doors for students and parents in the car line as well as spending time and connecting with elementary students before school started.

Today Ms. Copeland’s Human Anatomy classes are learning about the bones of the body. Today’s bone was a long bone like the femur! Students labeled each part of the bone and ordered the bone from the inside layers of the bone to the outer layers of the bone.

September 15th to October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month and our Spanish Club is celebrating the many ways people with Hispanic backgrounds have impacted our society in a positive way.

Each semester every student who enrolled in Coach Stalling’s Health classes are learning CPR. Each student practices on CPR dummies after learning the steps procedures for CPR for on babies, children, and adults.

Attention Mayflower Elementary Parents: On Tuesday, September 13th, there will be a new traffic route to drop off 1st-4th Grade Car Riders. Take a look at the attached map designating the new route. Thank you for your patience as we work to make drop off safer and easier.

Congratulations to Allen Reynolds for qualifying with his billiards team to go to the National Billards Tournament. His team is not related to the MHS, but we are proud of Allen and his team. Allen consistently represents Mayflower andMHS in a positive way. Best of luck Allen!

The district campuses, along with most of the community, was without power yesterday, and is still experiencing power issues today. This has created a power an food shortage issues in district cafeterias. Mayflower School District will take AMI day #1 on Thursday, August 25. AMI packets will be issued to students on Friday, August 26 to be completed by Tuesday, August 30. Please share this message with anyone you know who may not be able to receive messages. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
